‘Beginners’ and ‘Basic’
Nigel is now running two additional classes, one for absolute beginners and the other for people with a very basic or limited knowledge of French. These will be on Tuesdays during the daytime.
The beginners class is on Tuesday mornings from 11.00am to 12.30pm, and the ‘basic to improvers’ class is on Tuesday afternoons from from 2.30 to 4.00pm
The beginners class will cover basic everyday situations using simple vocabulary and grammar (in the present tense only). The aim is to give people the confidence and ability to speak basic French over a short period of time, usually 3-6 months
The ‘basic to improvers’ class is the next step on from beginners; a wider range of situations is explored as well as more comprehensive vocabulary, and additional tenses (the future and the past).
The classes will form part of an initial ongoing course of eight sessions
